This year Picardy got a lot of rain and snow. We suffered long, frequent bouts of both. Yet our expert teams prevailed. Here are a few shots taken in the middle of it all.
It all began with snowfall in January. This was a good thing for our mustard cover crops. The cold broke this green fertilizer down, to the great benefit of the soil.
The biodiversity meanwhile kept on living life to the full. The snowmelt began dampening the soil…
…and many rainy spells later…
In the rocket fields… The tractor was able to get through, but barely.
All is well as far as the eye can see!
The rocket is clean and in good shape, but we had to harvest it between bouts of rain.
The sun will soon shine again for everyone!
